The Popcorn Essentials Kit

The Rancho Gordo Crimson Popping Corn is non-GMO and grown in the USA.

These naturally red kernels do best the old-school way, in a pan with a lid and a bit of ghee. You’ll get fluffier, more flavorful popcorn that way. You can use an air popper, but you might notice a slightly lower yield of fully popped kernels.

Keep it classic with ghee and salt, or take it up a notch by try popping them in ghee and finish with a generous sprinkle of our Popcorn Seasoning. You really can’t go wrong.

Each batch is made by hand in small quantities, using organic sweet cream butter from Straus Family Creamery. No shortcuts, no industrial equipment, just traditional slow-cooking that brings out ghee’s nutty flavor and golden richness.

Ghee is clarified butter! During the slow-cooking process, milk solids are removed, so it’s naturally lactose-free (but not suitable for those with a severe dairy allergy).

This kit can make about 3 generous servings of popcorn.

Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight!
